Pakistan, under the leadership of underfire batter Babar Azam, landed themselves into a predicament following their loss historic ODI loss to Afghanistan when they lost to Afghanistan in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 fixture at Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium.

It is pertinent to mention that Sarfaraz Ahmed led Pakistan to victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Mohammad Amir was part of the team back then.
The left-arm pacer said Sarfaraz Ahmed attacked while analyzing the conditions. He recalled the then-captain noticing the ball reverse swinging at one end of Cardiff’s Sophia Gardens stadium during the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 fixture against Sri Lanka.
Mohammad Amir added that Sarfaraz Ahmed made him bowl at that end to break the partnership of Niroshan Dickwella and Angelo Mathews. The left-arm pacer said he managed to get them both out.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan won the game by three wickets.
