KARACHI: The Anti-Terrorism Court on Saturday approved the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh and Raja Azhar in the May 9 vandalism and arson case, ARY News reported.
According to the details, the anti-terrorism court approved the bail plea of PTI’s Haleem Adil and Raja Azhar and directed them to submit a surety bond of Rs 100,000 each.
The PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh and others were booked under many charges including vandalism and arson within the limits of Ferozabad police station.
However, the court adjourned the further hearing of the case till October 23.
Meanwhile, the court extended the bail plea of another PTI leader Khurram Sher Zaman in the same case.
It is pertinent to mention here that an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi sent PTI’s Haleem Adil Sheikh on three-day physical remand.
The PTI leader was produced before Karachi ATC in a terror case registered at Mubina Police Station.
During the hearing, the court rejected Haleem Adil Sheikh’s bail plea and handed him over to police on physical remand.
