ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has sent a Rs 10 billion defamation notice to the Defence Minister and PML-N leader Khawaja Asif over allegations of tickets sale, ARY News reported.
The defamation notice was filed by the PTI leader Usman Dar which stated that the PML-N leader Khawaja Asif should send a written apology to the PTI chairman Imran. Khawaja Asif’s accusation against the PTI of selling tickets for Rs 30 crore is baseless, the notice stated.
Furthermore, the notice stated that the PML-N leader should send a written apology to Imran Khan, and publish the written apology in major newspapers and if he cannot apologize then he should submit a fine of Rs 10 billion otherwise legal action should be taken against him.
Earlier, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif lambasted the former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar over the audio leaks saying the “Former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar went too far in his enmity with Nawaz Sharif,”

It is pertinent to mention here that another alleged audio leak of the former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar’s son Najam Saqib and PTI ticket holder emerged online.
In the first part of the audio leak, Najam Saqib and PTI ticket-holder Abuzar Chaddhar can be heard talking about tickets while the second part comprises a call recording between Najam and Mian Uzair.
In the audio, Najam Saqib can be heard asking the PTI candidate to meet his Baba (father) and say thanks to him, adding that his father will be back by 11:00.
In the second clip, a voice said to be Najam asked the other person to check his WhatsApp.
