At least five Indian soldiers were killed and several others sustained injured after a military truck caught fire in the Poonch district of India Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s (IIOJK) Rajouri sector, ARY News reported on Thursday.
According to the reports, the incident occurred in the Poonch district of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir where a fire broke out on a moving military truck.

Despite the attempts of the personnel to extinguish the flames, five military personnel lost their lives, while several personnel sustain severe burn injuries. The injured military officials have been transferred to hospitals in critical condition.
Local police and the military have launched a probe into the incident to determine if the vehicle was attacked with an explosive device or if the fire was caused by a lightning strike.
Meanwhile, a foreign news agency has reported that the military vehicle was attacked.
